This 3 flute end mill with its 3 helix angles (42.5°/45°/47.5°) also has an unequal index which together work to create minimal vibration. The higher helix coupled with a smaller 5° rake angle produces quality end mill that has better chip evacuation for slotting operations and a smoother, faster cutting process that results in a better surface finish while machining Stainless Steel. The PROMAX Premier US340 comes standard with a chamfer for added corner protection, the PROMAX special "edge prep" and AlTiN or nACRo® coating all which result in a longer tool life.
