This PROMAX Premier 4 flute end mill with an unequal index and 35°/38° variable helix reduces vibration and leads to a smoother cutting performance and a faster cutting process that results in a better surface finish. The uneven distribution of cutting edges also contributes to this tools reduced vibration. The US445 has a unique geometry which allows for better chip evacuation even in dry machining. This end mill comes complete with a protective corner chamfer, the PROMAX "edge prep" and premium coatings (AlTiN or nACRo) which give the US445 a surprisingly long tool life.
